Minecraft Server Rules
- Spam, offensive language, and inappropriate content (NSFW) is not allowed in any shape or form, regardless of its intent (chats, signs, written with blocks, etc). This includes historical/modern atrocities, sexual references, discrimination, and exploitation.
- Do not direct insults at individual players, or make accusations in general chats. If you have a genuine problem with someone, take screenshots of any rule breaches, and open a ticket on Discord so we can resolve the situation.
- Griefing and stealing are forbidden under any circumstances, inside and outside claimed plots. If you didn't put it there, don't touch it. This includes structures of any size, mobs, chests, etc. Forgotten builds can be repurposed, but you must ask a Moderator first.
- Intentionally destroying the environment, creating lava casts, or impassable terrain on roads/ice roads, is forbidden. This includes blocking access to lootable sites, public farms, or community areas. If you claim around one, you must provide a safe and evident passage through, so players can use the existing structure.
- Do not claim chunks next to another player's claim without their permission, to prevent quarrels over expansion space. If a valid complaint is made via Discord ticket, the latest claims will be removed (so take screenshots if you get permission, and make sure you're talking to the owner).
- Soft claiming, by marking future expansions with signs or blocks, should be done in a clear and evident fashion. Any territorial disputes must be resolved respectfully, in accordance with the rules. If you fail to achieve this, reach out to a Moderator so they can mediate to avoid conflict.
- Player-versus-player combat (PvP) can only take place inside marked chunks. Intentionally killing someone outside of those chunks, or maliciously impeding their gameplay, is not allowed (turn off combat with /pvp).
- Hacked clients and competitive mods are forbidden. This includes X-ray, underground mapping, auto-clickers (in any form) and mods that automate farming, combat, or provide an advantage over other players.
- Do not exploit bugs or glitches. If you find a problem, please immediately report it to us in a Discord ticket so we can fix it. This includes duplication of in-game resources, as it damages the player driven economy.
- Players with alternate accounts will be banned. This includes the main account, and any alternates. If this was done in error, please appeal the bans through a Discord ticket.
- Trading in-game resources for any real-life currency or real-life gift, is strictly forbidden under all circumstances. This also applies to trade of in-game resources for store ranks, or other store products.
- Gambling and betting are prohibited. You cannot create games of chance that require players to invest resources or currency of any type. This helps to reduce disagreements, scams, toxic behaviour, and other risks like addiction. Also applies to sale of "Mystery Shulkers" as Vanilla players cannot verify the entire contents.
- Do not attempt to scam new players, or knowingly misdirect them. Everyone needs time to understand the value of their starting resources, so targeting them with unfair deals, or other manipulation is not acceptable.
- Do not create alternate in-game currencies, as their value can change rapidly based on speculation, commonly resulting in losses for new players who don't understand what's going on. The market is player driven, but don't manipulate anyone into buying something worthless.
- Refrain from creating lag machines, chunk loaders, or unmanaged Redstone, to ensure a smoother experience for everyone. Large farms must have overflow protection, and avoid causing unnecessary strain on the server.
Disclaimer:In addition to these rules, staff members reserve the right to enforce judgement at their own discretion, to keep the Minecraft server a friendly and welcoming place for everyone. If you have any questions about the rules, or what you're allowed to do, ask a Moderator first. If you think a moderation decision was made in error, please open a Discord ticket or ban-appeal. Do not attempt to argue, intimidate, or lecture staff about their decisions in general chats. If you have a concern, raise it in your ticket, so it can be reviewed by the entire moderation team.
Mod Advisory Guide:This mod list is only an advisory guide, to help you in the right direction. It details mods that are allowed, and ones guaranteed to get you banned. Some mods are still in a grey area, and will be revised in the future. Any questions about the legality of mods that aren't on this list can be taken up with a Moderator. Please ensure you've read the entire document before doing so. This list can, and will be changed in the future:
